Person confirmed death after being found in the water in Oslo

The case is being updated.

The fire brigade was notified by the police at 8.30.

– We have just arrived on site. A person has been found in the water. The extent of the damage is unknown. We will make further searches for people, said Erik Sundt Fredriksen at the 110 switchboard in Oslo shortly after the incident.

TV 2’s reporter on the spot said that an attempt was made to resuscitate the person.

Just before 9 o’clock, the police confirm to TV 2 that the person is dead.

The fire brigade ends on the spot.

– The fire service is in the process of ending its efforts on the spot. We have searched the water in the area, and have not found any further people, says Fredriksen.
