How can children relate to two deaf parents who do not want to use sign language?

New book tells of a terrific upbringing in a dumb room.

In the essayist book “Strangers I Know”, Claudia Durastanti tells about her deaf mother, who grew up in a southern Italian village. The handicap was not very welcome. Life was not easy.
