Higher prices lead to higher wage demands – News (Ekot)

Listen: Higher prices result in higher wage demands

  • With price increases that stem from previously agreed central wage increases, the demands for compensation increase.

  • At the truck manufacturer AB Volvo, unions and employers have agreed on an agreement worth 3 percent from 1 April, clearly higher than the central agreement which gives 2.2 percent. According to the union, this is primarily due to Volvo doing well.
