  • Now comes political reactions to Ekot’s review, which showed long waiting times and a lack of staff in child and adolescent psychiatry.

  • “This is not how we can have it in the long run,” says Moderate leader Ulf Kristersson, who together with the Liberals, Christian Democrats and the Center Party want to make the strengthened care guarantee for children and young people into law.

  • Several parties want to see investments in, among other things, school health care to relieve child and adolescent psychiatry, for example the Sweden Democrats, the Green Party and the Left Party.
