Listen: Breivik tgm
-
The Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik will not be released. This was announced by Telemark District Court today.
-
Breivik had previously requested to be released on parole.
-
He was sentenced after the terrorist attack in 2011 on Utöya and in the government quarters in Oslo – which took the lives of 77 people – to the law’s most severe punishment, which in Norway is called detention. This means imprisonment indefinitely with the right to a re-examination after ten years.
