Isolated without internet after a landslide: – Retrieved the DVD player from the attic

– We have lots of food in the freezer and have been lucky. The worst thing is actually that both TV and the internet have gone, so we have taken the old DVD player from the attic, Botnehagen says to TV 2 after a short day in isolation.

When the 100-meter-long and 50-60-meter-wide rock slide took place in Forsand on Saturday afternoon, seven households were isolated from the outside world.

Acting emergency manager Guro Løvli in Sandnes municipality states that geologists are in place on Sunday to assess whether you can go into the landslide and start the work of cleaning up, or whether there is a danger of new landslides.

– For those who live there and are isolated, we work with a solution for boats and cars. The road will remain closed for a while, says Løvli to TV 2.

At 2 pm on Sunday, the crisis management in the municipality will meet to discuss the situation. However, Botneshagen takes the situation calmly.

– We do not look at it so dark. We are very happy with the conditions, he says.

The stormy night: – Gusts of 48.5 m / s
