The shootings of January 30, 1972, were the start of the most violent year during “The Troubles”.
But even though 50 years have passed, there are many who believe that the wounds after “Bloody Sunday” have far from healed.
Boris Johnson’s government has said it intends to introduce new legislation that prescribes crimes committed during the conflict, which means that veterans of the conflict can no longer be brought to justice.
