Tom Brady puts up

ESPN reporters Jeff Darlington and Adam Schefter report that Brady puts up.

Quarterback legend Tom Brady has thrown his last touchdown in the National Football League (NFL).

The 44-year-old has spent 22 seasons in the NFL, and won seven Super Bowl victories.

The fairy tale Brady

That the former Michigan student would enter the history books as the most winning quarterback of all time, no one would have believed when a 22-year-old Brady was drafted to the New England Patriots in 2000.

Six other quarterbacks were selected in front of the boy from San Mateo in California, and Brady had to wait until the 199th election before he heard his name called out.

But few, if any, came close to what Brady should achieve, first in the New England Patriots, then in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Together with head coach Bill Belichick, the Brady Patriots led to the team’s first Super Bowl victory in 2001. In the years that followed, there were five more victories in New England. (Super Bowl winners in 2003, 2004, 2015, 2017 and 2019)
