Thousands protest against coronation measures in Germany

In the city of Freiburg, about 4,500 people joined a demonstration train through the city to protest against proposals to introduce vaccine requirements and other coronary measures.

According to the police, it went mostly peacefully even if counter-protesters had gathered to try to block the protest march.

In the town of Brandenburg an der Havel, not far from Berlin, the police had to break up a demonstration that had not been applied for in advance. The organizers risk fines for having participated and for not having complied with the requirement to wear a face mask.

Also in several other cities, hundreds of people demonstrated on Saturday against the coronation measures.

In Germany, there have long been protests of this kind almost every weekend.
