The majority who have been sentenced to mental health care have been admitted. But in Oslo, most people live at home.

Seven out of ten people living in Oslo are sentenced to compulsory mental health care with open doors. In the north, they fill up the spaces.

In Norway, 311 people are now sentenced to compulsory mental health care. The number is constantly increasing. 289 of them have a so-called indefinite sentence after having committed serious violent offenses.
