  • The Government and Sweden’s municipalities and regions, SKR, have agreed on investments in a total of four areas within healthcare with SEK 11 billion.

  • Among other things, they want to develop primary care, create more internships for nurses, improve the working environment in care and invest in maternity care.

  • According to Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren, it is about money that has been announced earlier, which has now been agreed with SKR on how it will be used. “The regions will probably be very happy that the resources continue to come,” says Lena Hallengren.
