The cross-country girls’ coach Ole Morten Iversen received a negative answer to a PCR test on Tuesday morning, writes Dagbladet.
On Monday, it emerged that sprint coach Arild Monsen tested positive for the corona on arrival at Gardermoen after he and Iversen had returned home from Italy together.
There was therefore tension about whether Iversen had also been infected by the virus. He tested negative on two rapid tests on Monday, but was still waiting for a response to a PCR test.
On Tuesday morning, it is clear that Iversen also gave a negative test result. He himself confirms this to Dagbladet.
Thus, he can probably travel to the Olympics in Beijing as planned on January 27.
