Golden Globe Award Sprinkle: These are the winners

Yeong-su, known as “The Old Man” in the hit series “Squid Game”, is among the award winners in this year’s Golden Globe.

“Succession” and “Squid Game” are among the winners of this year’s Golden Globe Awards.


Best Actor in a Drama Series: Jeremy Strong

Strong received the award for his role as Kendall Roy, the rich, spoiled and very troubled second eldest son in the HBO series “Succession”.

Strong danced out, among others, Brian Cox, who was also nominated for his role as dad Logan Roy in the same series.

French actor Omar Sy was also nominated for his role in the Netflix series Lupine.

Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series: O Yeong-su

“Squid Game” actor O Yeong-su walked away with the victory in this category.

The Korean Netflix success was nominated for three TV and film awards in this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Yeong-su, known as “The Old Man” in the series, won over Kieran Culkin, who plays the youngest son in “Succession”, as well as Brett Goldstein from “Ted Lasso” and both Billy Cydrup and Mark Duplass for “The Morning” Show ».

Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series: Sarah Snook

Another award for the “Succession” team, here led by Sarah Snook. The Australian actor plays Shiv Roy in the HBO series.

Snook won over, among others, Andie MacDowell, who was nominated for her role as a mother in the Netflix series “Maid”.

Best Foreign Language Film: “Drive My Car”

The Japanese film “Drive My Car” won the award for best foreign language film of the year.
