  • Efforts to rescue thousands of motorists stranded in a snowstorm in Pakistan are still ongoing. More than 20 people have died in the storm, which surprised many tourists who were on their way to a popular excursion destination in the mountains north of the capital Islamabad.

  • It was on Friday that tens of thousands of people went to the mountain town of Murree to enjoy the snow and were surprised by a very heavy snowfall that caused thousands of cars to get stuck in the snow drifts when they went home.
