Violence and threats are increasing. On the eastern edge, crime increased among the very youngest last year.

There is more violence, and threats with a knife are increasing among children under 15 years of age.

Mortensrud and other of Oslo’s eastern areas experienced an increase in crime among the youngest last year. Police are concerned about the increase.

The child welfare service does not have good enough measures for children who commit serious crimes. Child welfare workers do not dare to report violence and threats to which they are exposed.

It appears from the Oslo Public Prosecutor’s Office’s inspection report of the eastern part of the Oslo police district.
