The Wild coach murmured after tackling: – Injuries our best player on purpose

Zucca and his teammates suffered a setback in the Winter Classic match, but on Friday night the team returned to the winning track. The Norwegian had a great assist in the 3-2 victory against the Boston Bruins.

But despite the victory, it was not only positive things to bring for Wild. In the middle of the second period, star Kirill Kaprizov had to leave the ice after a tough tackle from Bruins player Trent Frederic.

The rough treatment also triggered a small basket roof. Earlier in the match, Zuccarello had also been involved in a dispute with Frederic.

– I am very frustrated with the way Kirill is injured. These are the kind of tackles we do not want in the league. The puck is lying there. He knows what he’s doing. He will hurt our best player. There is no question if that is the intention once, says Wild coach Dean Evason.

The Bruins took the lead 1-0 in the first period, before Kaprizov equalized to 1-1 after a precise pass from Zucca. Nico Sturm sent Wild in the lead, before youngster Matt Boldy scored in his debut and made it 3-1. The Bruins reduced by Brad Merchand, but a goalless third period allowed Wild to win the match 3-2.

The victory puts Wild in fourth place in its division, but the team has two games less played than leading Nashville.
