Mané does not give up the league gold: – Everything is possible

HEAVY LOSS: Sadio Mané scratches his head after missing a great opportunity against Leicester earlier this week.

Liverpool suffered a couple of points losses towards the end of 2021, and Sadio Mané (29) is aware that new losses against Leicester will make the title match “very complicated”.

Here are Sunday’s odds tips!

Manchester City stand with eleven straight victories in the Premier League and seem to have a steady course towards a new league gold. Liverpool and Chelsea kept up with the Manchester club for a long time, but in recent weeks both have given a number of points. For Liverpool, the year ended with one point in the last two matches in the Premier League.

The gap up to Manchester City has thus become a full twelve points, with two games less played, for Liverpool.

Sadio Mané was among those who missed big chances when Liverpool for the first time this season went goalless away against Leicester on December 28, and is in an interview with Premier League Productions aware that there were three important points that were missing.

– If you want to win the title, then it would be very important to win matches like that. If not, it will be very complicated, says Mané.

– It’s too early to talk about losing the title. We know that City is a bit ahead, but anything is possible and we will fight all the way in, says Mané.

The Senegalese scored in seven of the first twelve Premier League matches this season, but is now without online knowledge since November 20. Since then, he has played seven games in the Premier League and two in the Champions League without scoring.

MUST STAY HOME: Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp must stand over Sunday’s match against Chelsea after ending up in corona isolation.

Then it can be good to have good memories to look back on before the meeting with Chelsea. Last season, Mané scored both goals as Liverpool won 2-0 away at Stamford Bridge. Sunday’s match will also be Mané’s last in the Liverpool shirt for a while. After the match, he and teammates Mohamed Salah and Naby Keïta leave to play in the African Championship for Senegal, Egypt and Guinea, respectively.

– I think we are capable of winning difficult matches as well, as we used to do in the past. We go there with a positive attitude and will go for a positive result, says Mané.
