The fire chief has had enough of fires in batteries for electric scooters. – This does not work anywhere.

Fire chief Leif Linde in Bergen says they will consider ordering Ryde to stop storing batteries for electric scooters under a block of flats in the city.

On Sunday night, it burned for the second time in four days in the lithium batteries in the warehouse of the electric scooter landlord Ryde in Nygårdsgaten in Bergen.

– The tenant must have much better control over the storage of the batteries. This does not work anywhere, and at least not in the center, says fire chief Leif Linde.
