Listen: Jackelén about Tutu
South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu has died, the South African presidency has announced. He died at his home in Cape Town and turned 90 years old.
He fought against the South African racial policy, apartheid and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.
Archbishop Antje Jackelén says that he was important in the work against Apartheid. “He embodied courage but also comfort,” she says.
