  • In Myanmar, around 30 people are said to have been killed when several vehicles were stopped on a road in the eastern part of the country. Pictures published during Christmas Day show several burned-out vehicles.

  • According to Save the Children, two of the organization’s employees are missing.

  • The resistance group PDF tells the news agency AFP that it is government forces that are behind it. Myanmar’s military junta has not yet commented.
