The newspaper claims to have sources on
that Burman will not start in the Tour, which begins with a sprint in the Swiss Lenzerheide on 28 December.
Burman has struggled with back problems this autumn, and it is these problems that are now forcing him to drop one of the season’s big goals.
National team coach Anders Högberg does not want to comment to Aftonbladet on the information that Burman must drop the Tour de Ski.
The newspaper also writes that another Swedish skier, Anton Persson, may lose the Tour de Ski as a result of illness.
