Mats Zuccarello was responsible for two assists when the Minnesota Wild beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-1 in NH on Wednesday night.
Wild won both the first and third periods with 2-0, while the Oilers got their one goal in the second period.
Zuccarello got his first assist on Wild’s first goal after 1.11 of the first period when Joel Eriksson Ek made it 1-0. The second assist came in the third period after 5.33 when Victor Rask scored the 3-1 goal.
Marcus Foligno provided the 2-0 goal in the first period, and Dimitri Kulikov the 4-1 goal in the last period.
The Oilers’ goal was scored by Jesse Puljojarvi in the middle period.
Zuccarello was on the ice for 16 minutes and 37 seconds in the match. This was the seventh straight victory for Wild, who now leads the Western Central division seven points ahead of the St. Louis Blues.
