Sparkling Liverpool ravaged with Southampton

Liverpool – Southampton 4-0

Saturday’s match between Liverpool and Southampton at Anfield opened terrific.

When the match was 97 seconds old, Liverpool had already managed to first get a corner against, since storms in attack, and then end the effective attack with a cash goal by Diogo Jota.

After the early goal, Liverpool continued to bubble in their offensive play. It resulted in another great Jota scoring after half an hour.

Shortly afterwards, the Liverpool upswing continued when Thiago picked up a return, kept up with a neat sole pull and knocked the ball via Lyanco, and into goal.

Thus, referee Andre Mariner could blow the whistle and send the players to the break with a deserved 3-0 lead to the home team.

After the break, Virgil van Dijk also threw himself at the scoring party.

With a very comfortable 4-0 lead and Southampton teams constantly appearing resigned, Liverpool could eventually ease some of the pressure on the accelerator.

Southampton, who played without an injured Mohamed Elyounoussi in the squad, had a very difficult time establishing play in Liverpool’s half of the field, and apparently had plenty to defend against Liverpool’s big attack.

The match eventually ended 4-0.

The case is being updated!
